Magic Mask

Want to fake a good nights sleep? This natural face mask will brighten up those dark circles and bags under your eyes from late night feeding sessions or maybe one too many red wines!  Turmeric beauty masks have been used across Asia for centuries. They are also well known in Chinese and Indian traditions, and are an element of the Ayurvedic medical system. Turmeric's anti-inflamatory properties also help with calming acne and rosacea. In south Asia turmeric masks are and integral part of the bride's wedding preparations, making her flawless and glowing for her wedding day. The best part is all of the ingredients can be found at your local health food shop!

1 tsp Turmeric

1 tsp  Runny raw honey (Manuka would also be great)

1 tsp Full fat milk, skim just won't do!

Combine all ingredients in a glass or stainless steel bowl (some ceramic might be stained by turmeric) Mix with a spoon to a uniform paste and apply to a recently cleaned face with an old foundation brush or the back of the spoon if your feeling game! It's a good idea to wear an old t-shirt while doing this so you don't stain your clothes and do a test patch on your face if you have super sensitive skin.

Leave on you face for 10 to 15 mins or until the mask dries completely. Remove with a damp towel or hop in the shower!
