A day at Nubo Play.
Last week we had the opportunity to explore Nubo. A cutting edge play centre for kids aged 0-10 located in Alexandria, Sydney.
With Lulu at school it was great to have a solo day with Marley watching her float around in their sky blue ball pit and run around exploring everything from their stunning library (complete with cosy nooks to read quietly) to their fully stocked art room where drawing on the walls is encouraged.
The wide open space is so inviting and oozes a Scandinavian style that looks more like a chic hangout for the parents rather than your typical primary coloured kids centre. Did i mention there's a stunning marble draped cafe where the parents can get their caffeine fix and healthy menu options.
Nubo offers specialised themed workshops to keep the kiddo's entertained and a thoughtfully planned calendar of events that will guarantee to keep even the most active/creative child happy. Endless experiences to enjoy like painting, cooking, story time, free play, facilitated play, dancing and drama or just run free around the centre climbing their robe course or build until your hearts content in the megaformers room.
I love that Nubo embraces a more holistic style attitude towards play. Most of the toys are gender neutral and of high quality. They promote creativity and a more fluid organic approach to learning through play. It's a space that's for both children and parents to enjoy. An environment that encourages families to play, explore, connect, grow and learn together in a space that's uncomplicated.
These school holidays we will be returning with Lulu in tow for tea and story time around the communal table in the cafe and the 'little scientists' workshops for adventures in slime making and DIY lava lamps!
A big thanks to Nubo for having us and we cant wait to return!
