Working/blogging from home has it's challenges.
More often than not i end up on the couch with my laptop on my lap, trying not to spill my coffee, answering the phone, Lulu asking for help with her latest Lego project and a dog trying to sleep on top of me.
Concentration is low people, way low.
Not to mention the guilt i have over sitting at the computer when i feel like i should be doing the dishes, laundry, cooking, dog walking, vacuuming or getting my Betty Crocker on in the kitchen.
The solution is simple. Office space, a real grown up office space.
No offence to my dinning room table. But i need a desk. And somewhere i can go and switch off. Somewhere i can close the door and sit in peace, well sort of, and work. So my third bedroom is getting a very overdue makeover into an office/nursery nook.
Excited at the prospect of some new furniture i have of course turned to Pinterest to get some "deskspiration" (All the above images are via Pinterest.)
I'm longing for a Scandinavian inspired, monochrome, clean and bright space where i can zone out, while looking at gorgeous stationary of course. Now i will be sharing the space with the husband, he works from home too so i have to allow for some masculinity.
