Maternity wear that won't make you gag.
I've never been one for maternity wear. Most of the options out there are pretty damn unappealing and to be honest, expensive. Why is it that as soon as your preggo there are literally 100's of people trying to sell you things you don't need at 5 times the price?
Finding fashionable items that are true to your style in a maternity range can be some what impossible. Thankfully it has gotten a lot better since i had Lulu six years ago!
My fav ways to shop online like Asos, Topshop, Shopbop, Net-a-porter and a handful of specialty online stores have jumped on the maternity band wagon and have on offer current trending, well priced maternity wear that thankfully doesn't make me want to gag! Yay!
I managed to get through my entire pregnancy with Lulu without purchasing a single piece of maternity wear. I just bought a size or two up and lived in stretchy everything! This time around I'm bigger earlier and find the buying up thing isn't cutting it.
I have bought a few things on Asos that i have been thrashing and loving that it's not too "maternity-y" The above is kinda my go to preggo lady outfit. Leggings, long line t-shirts and Birkenstocks, god bless Birks! A loose man style, light weight jacket and a hat to cover up my shocking re-growth. (i need a visit to the hairdresser stat!) And always, always...comfy underwear!
Also i love my natural skincare and i've been using Teresa Kerr's mama and baby line. Her belly oil is luxurious, great smelling and 100% organic. My belly is feeling so stretched lately it's quite painful. I apply this at night and my skin feels soft and nourished. Best of all...no stretch marks!
