Want to know how to fake a good nights sleep?
This natural face mask will help banish dark circles and nasty bags under your eyes from late night feeding sessions or perhaps too many red wines. No judgement.
Turmeric beauty masks have been used across Asia for centuries and are an element of the Ayurvedic medical system. (More on that later.)
Turmerics anti-inflammatory properties can help soothe and clear acne and rosacea while reducing fine lines and wrinkles, yes please!
In Southern Asia turmeric mask's are an integral part of the brides wedding preparations, making her skin spotless and glowing for her big day.
The best part is all the ingredients can be found at your local health food shop.
1 tsp Turmeric powder
1 tsp runny raw honey (Manuka is also a good option)
1 tsp full fat milk, sorry skim won't do!
Combine with a spoon in a glass or stainless steel bowl (turmeric may stain some ceramic) until a smooth paste forms. Apply to a recently washed face with and old foundation brush or the back of the spoon if your feeling game.
Its a good idea to wear an old t-shirt so you don't stain your clothes and do a small test patch if you have super sensitive skin.
Leave on skin for 10-15 minuets or until the mask is completely dry. Wash off with a face washer or jump in the shower.
