Lulu's turning seven + High tea party planning!!
I can't believe my little side kick is turning seven. The last seven years with Lulu have been wonderful, challenging, exciting and full of love. She loves hard this girl, and unconditionally. This year has been huge for Lu. She finally welcomed a sibling and has totally owned her role as big sister in Marley's life. These two are going to be great life long friends... i just know it.
Usually we go all out with parties and use them as a big excuse for us to see friends and socialise as well as celebrate a birthday. It's a lot of hard work, stressful and can get pretty expensive!
This year we are simplifying the party business and making it easier on ourselves. Yay!
The Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel is graciously entertaining us in their stunning Lady Fairfax room for high tea for Lulu and five girlfriends. They will enjoy a beautiful children's version of their famous high tea and Lulu is so excited to dress up and host a beautiful afternoon with her friends.
Below are some ideas she and I have been collecting for the special day. Cute florals and girly details, not usually my scene but the birthday girl insists! Pink, purple and mint are her chosen colours and she wants her girlfriends to dress up like fairies or princesses so naturally there's a Tutu involved. She wants to play pass the parcel and i have high tea themed colouring in and build your own bracelet to do at the table while they munch on perfectly made little cakes and sip the Radisson Blu's famous blue mocktail.
Can't wait to share the photo's with you after the big day!
